As Aykut Law & Consultancy, we offer mediation services as one of the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods. Our founding attorney, Melek Meltem Aykut, is a registered mediator of the Ministry of Justice, holding registration number 28754.

Mediation is a dispute resolution method which aims to establish a communication bridge between the parties through systematic techniques, dialogue, and negotiation, enabling them to better understand each other and generate their own mutually acceptable solutions, proposing solutions in cases where the parties are unable to find a resolution on their own,  and is conducted with the involvement of a neutral and independent third party who has received specialized training, and is carried out optionally in the application of a process other than the mediation that is regulated as a condition of the lawsuit and in any case in the execution and termination of the process. Mediation may also involve international elements.

Mediation is a peaceful dispute resolution method applied in the settlement of private law disputes arising from operations or processes over which the parties have free will.

  • Optional Mediation; ta is where the parties choose to apply to a mediator before initiating legal proceedings, without being under any legal obligation to do so.
  • Court-Mandated Mediation; is a type of mediation where it is mandatory to apply to a mediator and complete the mediation process before commencing litigation
